Ever since I was little, I always wanted to write novels. I started many but finished few. I haven't published any books so far, but I feel like the time has finally arrived.

Be a part of my upcoming book:

Some of you have repeatedly asked me to publish a collection of my poems in printed form. I've given this a lot of thought and I decided to make it happen – and you'll get to join in on the fun.

I want to create something good, something worth buying – and I want to involve you in the process. My plan is to take 100 of my poems and publish them in a colorful book, probably 15x15cm or something like that, each poem beautifully designed on one page. And I want you to be able to contribute to that by picking a poem from my list and and sending me pictures (drawings, photographs ...) that would go well with that poem. I want to collect lots of different impressions/interpretations from different people.

Just to be perfectly clear there: The pictures have to be your own work. I know how to google images – but that's not the idea. I want you to put a piece of yourselves into this book just like I do with my writing. And I also need you to know that I can't pay anyone for their pics. This book is a passion project and I may not make any money with it at all. It'll probably cost me more than I get back. I'd be happy to put your name in the book though.

After giving this project a lot of thought (a couple of years in fact), I finally contacted a lawyer who's written an image usage agreement for the cause. If you want to be a part of it, then

This is how you do it:

• Take a look at the list of poems.
• If a poem speaks to you, e-mail your picture to writing(at)
• The e-mail also has to contain a scan of this signed usage agreement.
• If I don't know you in person, I'll also need proof of your identity (a scanned ID).

And that's it. I'll look through the pictures and pick the ones I like best. I can't promise to use everybody's work; but you can send me as many images as you want to increase the chance.

Please make sure that your pictures are sent in the highest possible resolution and be aware that the book will have square or almost square pages (so I might have to crop most images). Accepted file formats are JPG, PNG, TIFF or PDF.
