MY SONGS
I may not be the world’s greatest composer – and God knows I’m no stunning singer either. I am quite proud of my lyrics though. Realistically, I see myself more as a lyricist than a songwriter. Sometimes, however, I feel like writing a whole song. And sometimes I do record them.
I’ve written and recorded quite a few demo records over the years – and while I would do some of them very differently today, there are also some I am still extremely fond of. I’m self-taught. And this doesn’t always come easy to me.

COLLABORATIONS
I’m eager to get to know other musicians and work out ways to create art together. There are so many fantastic singers out there – and I’d love to hear them sing my lyrics. If you are an artist and you’ve written some catchy tunes but you can’t find the right words to make your song complete: Just write me! Send me your melodies, your thoughts, your ideas. I’ll do my best to give your song the words it deserves. Don’t worry about payment either. Money is not why I’m doing this right now.

no raisins, rupert!
In 2009, I co-founded a band called No Raisins, Rupert! which – in my opinion – was getting pretty good at writing and recording various types of catchy songs. Apparently I was the only one who thought so … or maybe I was the only one not interested in playing live. Or maybe I was pushing too hard. Anyway, we suffered the same fate most bands do. Pity!
